sunday is my favorite day. yes, i have to get up at 7am and watch babies for four hours at a church, but for some reason they remind me that you only live once and to just have fun. they are so young and all they want to do is play and learn. slowly, they become connected to you and it's so special when you see them learning to walk and talk. it makes my heart smile.

and then you have the rest of the day to do what sundays are best for - eating, catching up, and napping. today, i took a bike ride (something i haven't done in almost a year - pathetic) to mi madres to eat lunch with some new friends, james and sarah. they are a super sweet couple that recently moved here from nyc. i love new friends. then i read on the porch, called la famille, and finally got to catch up with one of my bestest, lizzie!! the weather was perfect, and i wish i would have gone to park or to jo's to bask in the sunshine and people watch. maybe next week.
