earlier, i was going through my contacts' photos on flickr. i found some taken by my buddy, ryan, from art exhibitions he has attended recently. i fell in love with this artist:

This is on the front of a magazine this month... I was passing by the magazine section in a drugstore the other day and was totally captivated by this photo on the cover. yikes. I am simultaneously attracted and repulsed!

i'm going to have to go peruse the magazine section of the bookstore now.
he draws you in, but at the same time you want to turn away. i like that about ron mueck's work.
