a list of things, a wish list of sorts:

-to finally create my inspiration wall.
-typewriter.
-sewing machine.
-get calliope tricycle designs off the ground.
-create website/etsy store.
-take a photo i love every day.
-sketch more/get my crazy characters on paper.
-make the stack of magazines next to my bed smaller by reading them.
-pull over and take the photo when i see something that inspires me.
-negative scanner.
-make the darkroom happen sometime before the year ends.
-porch drinking.
-more new friends.
-road trips to texas hill country.
-krause springs!
-create blog for brooke and i to post photos and other creative ventures on.

things to make happen. i'll do them one at a time and hopefully, by 2009 this list will be all crossed out letters.

today, i realized that the song i can't get out of my head is fleet foxes "white winter hymnal." i love that i realize this the day after they play a show at the mohawk. oh, the sitcom that i call my life. anyway, the album is amazing! everyone should give it a listen.

praise the humble dung beetle

a rather interesting article about endangered species that you never see and what they do for the environment. it puts a lot of things into perspective.

i find this very amusing. i'm trying to figure out the name of a prince song by listening to 30 second clips in the itunes store, and over to the side it lists artists that the listeners also bought. i believe this helps describe my love for certain music minus the billy idol. here is what they listed:
