sometimes people just really aren't worth your time, and it sucks when you finally figure this out. i hope that people don't feel this way about me. where you try and try to be the best friend possible to realize they are a lousy friend in return. it's just easier to cut your losses. i just really hate to give up on people, especially ones that i genuinely like and think are good quality people.
